The park has been regenerated and developed and was previously used for coal and iron ore mining. This is the second consecutive year that the park is hosting the Corus Elite Series event at the Olympic distance. The 1500m swim will be in Bryn Bach Lake within the centre of the park. The bike will consist of a 40km 10 lap circuit within the park followed by a fast 10km 4 lap run around the lake. | ||
