| Corus sponsorship has enabled British Triathlon to create a new series of Elite races for the UK. The Corus Elite series gives British athletes the chance to compete on home soil against some of the best triathletes in the world. In 2007 and 2008 the Corus Elite Series consisted of 3 events each year televised by Channel 4, significantly raising the profile of triathlon in the UK. Spectators are encouraged to support the athletes and see some of the best athletes in the world first hand. |
