 In 2006 Will won the ITU World Under 23 Championships in Lausanne, Switzerland, adding the gold medal to his ITU European Under 23 Championship victory. Moving into the senior rankings in 2007, Will finished fifth at the Senior World Triathlon Championships leading the British contingency. Despite his win at the inaugural Corus Elite Series at Strathclyde Park, bike problems affected his results at the other Corus Elite Series events. Will has had a strong start to 2008 and is focusing his efforts on selection for the Beijing Olympics.
